Budget and Funding

Where AHRC's funding comes from, and how it is spent.

Source of Funding

As a newly established entity, the Afghanistan Human Rights Center (AHRC) is currently in the initial stages of securing funding. The center is exploring various avenues for financial support, including grants from international human rights organizations, contributions from charitable foundations, and donations from individuals passionate about promoting human rights and democracy in Afghanistan.

Efforts are also underway to engage with governments that have shown commitment to supporting human rights initiatives in Afghanistan.

Expenditure

Given that the AHRC was founded very recently, it has not yet commenced substantial expenditure. The initial focus is on establishing a strong foundation for the organization, which includes setting up operational and administrative infrastructure.

Future expenditure plans are aligned with the center's mission and will predominantly focus on program implementation, research, advocacy, and support for human rights defenders and Afghan refugees.

Anticipated Financial Statements or Annual Report Projections

Since the AHRC has just been established, there are no existing financial statements or annual reports. However, the organization plans to maintain a high standard of financial transparency and accountability.
